2. Pull the tape around the back of your head, around the most curved part of your head, and take it right around until you get to the next temple.

Lastly, you will need the nape of the neck measurement for a closure wig. The nape is where the base of the wig will sit. To measure the nape of the neck, do the following:

1. Place measuring tape behind one ear, level with the bottom of your ear lobe.

2. Pull the tape around the base of your hairline (back of your head), or the nape, until it reaches below the next ear.
